Police: Dover Man Shot Early Saturday “Not Cooperative”

The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a 36-year-old Dover man, according to Public Information Office Sergeant Mark Hoffman.

Hoffman said at approximately 1:14 a.m., officers were called to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital when the victim arrived to the emergency room by private vehicle.

The victim was struck once in the wrist and once in the thigh by gunfire. He is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries and has not been cooperative with detectives at this time.
