Teen, 16, Two 13-Year-Olds,Charged After Carjacking

Wilmington Police have charged three juveniles and recovered a stolen vehicle moments after a carjacking, police said Friday.

On November 20 at approximately 9:16 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1500 block of West 8th Street in reference to a carjacking that had just occurred. Responding officers located the vehicle less than a block away and took three suspects into custody. The victim received treatment for a minor injury sustained during the incident.

Police have charged a 13-year-old male with the following offenses:
Robbery (First Degree)
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Assault (Second Degree)
Conspiracy (Second Degree)
Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $132,500 cash-only bail.

A second 13-year-old male has been charged with the following offenses:
Robbery (First Degree)
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Assault (Second Degree)
Conspiracy (Second Degree)
Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $132,500 cash-only bail.

A 16-year-old male has been charged with the following offenses:
Robbery (First Degree)
Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
Assault (Second Degree)
Conspiracy (Second Degree)
Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $132,500 cash-only bail.
