Newark Police are investigating an incident that occurred late Thursday at the Springhill Suites at 402 Ogletown Road.
Not much is know about the incident at this time. We do know that just after 11:00 rescue crews along with Newark Police Officers were dispatched to that location for reports of a shooting.
In an email Friday morning Newark Police Spokesman, Lt. Andrew Rubin said that he is still gathering details surrounding that late-night incident.
We’re expecting an update from Rubin later this morning.
