Troopers Make Multiple Drug Arrests In Seaford

Seaford- Delaware State Police concluded a drug investigation that resulted in multiple arrests and seizures of drugs, according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Heather Pepper.

Pepper said on Thursday, February 4, 2021, Delaware State Police concluded a two-month long drug investigation into 36-year-old Ptolemi E. Kendle of Seaford. As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was approved and executed at a residence on Middleford Road, Seaford. Located inside the residence at the time the search warrant was executed were the following individuals:

Ptolemi E. Kendle, a 36-year-old male of Seaford, a 37-year-old male of Georgetown, a 34-year-old male, and a 58-year-old female of Seaford.

During the search of the residence, the following items were located, according to Pepper.

• 1- Folding knife with a blade larger than 3.5 inches
• Approximately .05 grams of crack cocaine
• 6 doses of methadone
• Approximately 46.01 grams of methamphetamine
• Approximately 17.62 grams of heroin
• $1,138.00 in suspected drug proceeds
• Approximately .45 grams of marijuana
• Multiple articles of drug paraphernalia

Troopers also conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The lessee of the residence, 51-year-old David Bryant of Seaford, was a passenger in the vehicle. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 4.

Ptolemi E. Kendle was charged with the following crimes:

Possession With Intent to Deliver Heroin (Felony)
Possession With Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (Felony)
Possession of Crack Cocaine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Resisting Arrest
Kendle was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $61,500.00 cash bond.

The 36-year-old male of Seaford was charged with the following crimes:

Possession of marijuana
Possession of heroin
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
He was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and released on a $1,000.00 unsecured bond.

The 37-year-old male of Georgetown was released at the scene and not charged with any crimes.

The 58-year-old female of Seaford was charged with the following crimes:

Possession of Heroin
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Resisting Arrest
She was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #2 and was released on $2,000.00 unsecured bond.

David Bryant was arrested and charged with the following crimes:

Maintaining a Drug Property (Felony)
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of a Drug Masking Product
Bryant was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court#2 and released on a $3,000.00 unsecured bond.
