New Castle Crash Sends Three To Trauma Center, Delaware’s Roads Off The Charts This Weeks

At approximately 11:20 a.m. New Castle County Paramedics, Wilmington Manor Fire Company, Goodwill Fire Company, Delaware City Fire Company, Minquadale Fire Company, Delaware Air Guard Fire Department, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the intersection of South Dupont Highway and Llangollen Boulevard in New Castle for reports of a motor vehicle collision with an unconscious subject.

Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a total of 3 patients.
• A 19-year-old female was treated for internal injuries. She was transported to Christiana Hospital via Goodwill Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in serious condition.
• An approximately 25-year-old female was treated for a head injury. She was transported to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in critical condition.
• A 68-year-old female was treated for a possible head injury. She was transported to Christiana Hospital via Wilmington Manor Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in stable condition.

In recent days several people have been killed and many others been seriously injured in crashes on Delaware’s Road.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
