Woman Found Shot Monday In Wilmington, Not First Shooting Today

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 5:31 p.m. in the area of Lancaster Avenue and Clayton Street.

Police located a 30-year-old female gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital and is listed in stable condition.

At around the same time, rescue crews responded to the 300 block of S Jackson Street for reports of a shooting.  It’s not clear if these are two separate incidents or if they are one ion the same.

Earlier this morning,  at approximately 2:44 a.m. in the 400 block of Bradford Street.

Police located a 19-year-old male gunshot victim and transported him to the hospital in critical condition.
