At approximately 9:40 a.m. New Castle County Paramedics (NCCP), Claymont Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to Interstate 95 NB in the area of the Naamans Road overpass for a motor vehicle collision with rollover and one subject reported trapped.
Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, an approximately 40-year-old female, out of the vehicle and in the care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered possible internal injuries. She was treated on scene and transported to Crozer Hospital via Claymont Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, NCCP Assistant PIO Emily Mallon. The patient was in critical condition at the time of transport.
Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the crash.
