Shortly after a reader reported that a bunch of state police just chased someone up North Star Road in Hockessin, Chester County authorities began dispatching officers to assist in the chase.

As the pursuit crossed the state line into Pennsylvania the suspect vehicle was involved in a crash. Chester County 911 has dispatched rescue crews and two ambulances to Broad Run Road and Newark Road in New Garden Township, Pennsylvania.

Radio reports indicate that there are injured persons in both vehicles. All roads leading to the intersection have been closed.

Initial reports that all of the subjects are in custody.

This is a developing story.
