Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal assault incident that occurred at approximately 10:53 p.m. Tuesday in the area of 4th and DuPont Streets.
Police located a 36-year-old male assault victim, who was transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
