Newark Fireworks Will Go On This Year

The City of Newark announced Friday that the annual 4th of July Fireworks show will go on.

Parking and viewing from your vehicle location is available in the University of Delaware Athletic Complex lots. The community is asked to leave your pets at home and be sure they are secured safely. Fireworks displays tend to scare pets. Many animals are lost on the 4th of July.

Vendors and entertainment will NOT be present. This will be a Fireworks only event.
Information on parking times will be available after June 1.

Rain date is Monday, July 5
