Police: Man Charged With Aggravated Menacing After Fight With Children

Milton- Troopers arrest Milton man on criminal charges following a physical altercation Saturday night,  according to Public Information Officer, Master Corporal Heather Pepper.

Pepper said on May 1, 2021, at approximately 9:09 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on Mulberry Street for a physical altercation. The investigation determined a verbal argument between 44-year-old Partor Rios Sanchez of Milton and a 14-year-old female in the residence while cooking in the kitchen, according to Pepper.

A 47-year-old female acquaintance in the home intervened, and it caused Partor to become extremely aggressive. Partor then took the kitchen knife he was using in the kitchen and aggressively displayed the knife toward the victims, which caused them to be in fear of physical harm, said Pepper.

A 12-year-old male stepped between Partor and the female victims and calmed the situation. Partor then took a beer and threw it at the 14-year-old female, and struck the 47-year-old female with his elbow before fleeing the residence before troopers arrived on the scene, added Pepper. The victims did not require medical attention.

Later Saturday night, Partor returned to the home, and troopers responded and took him into custody without incident. He was transported to Troop 7, where he was charged with the following crimes:

Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
Aggravated Menacing (Felony)
Four counts- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
Offensive Touching
Partor was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court #3 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $40,100.00 cash bond.
