14-Year-Old Wilmington Girl Missing For Almost A Month Found

A 14-year-old Wilmington girl has been found almost a month after being reported missing, police said Thursday.

Officials said that following a tip from a member of the public, Wilmington Police investigators responded to a location in Smyrna, Delaware yesterday evening. Madison Davis was located and has since been reunited with her family.

Last month police said that the girl was last seen in the area of the 700 block of West 34th Street on May 20.

An email sent to Wilmington Police asking for confirmation that an arrest was made in connection with this case went unanswered Thursday.

Police did say their investigation is ongoing in conjunction with our partner law enforcement agencies.
