Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 9:38 p.m. Tuesday in the 1300 block of Wilson Street.
Police said they located a 28-year-old male gunshot victim who arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
Earlier on Tuesday at approximately 7:20 p.m. Wilmington Police responded to a double shooting in the 2200 Block of North Washington Street.
Police located a 32-year-old male gunshot victim and a 47-year-old male gunshot victim who both arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
Police declined to release additional details regarding either incident.
In Newark, just before 1:00 Tuesday morning Newark Police were dispatched to a residence in the unit block of Ethan Allen Court for a report of a disturbance. While officers were en route, a second call was received reporting a shooting at the same residence.
Upon arrival, officers located a male in the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. This male was pronounced dead at the scene. A second male at the residence was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand. Officers rendered medical aid to this male before he was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injury. He is in stable condition, according to police.
Police said the incident is believed to be an altercation between people known to each other within the residence and there is no known threat to the community.
