Rider Seriously Injured In Newark Motorcycle Crash Saturday Morning

At approximately 11:30 a.m., New Castle County Paramedics (NCCEMS), Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company of Newark, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the intersection of Old Baltimore Pike and Four Seasons Parkway in Glasgow for a motor vehicle collision involving a motorcycle, according to NCCEMS Assistant PIO Emily Mallon.

Mallon said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a single patient. A 61-year-old male was treated for a possible head injury and an injury to his lower extremity. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police Aviation, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in serious condition.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
