Four Reportedly Shot In Four Separate Shootings Late Friday

Police are reportedly investigating four separate shootings that occurred Friday night.

Just after 9:00 police and rescue crews responded to the area of Route 1 and Route 40 in Bear for reports of a shooting.  Initial reports indicate that one person was found shot at that location.

As police were investigating that incident reports of another shooting in the area of Route 7 and Churchmans Road began coming in. Initial reports indicate that one person was shot at that location. Sources tell FSU that at least a dozen shell casings were observed in the eastbound lanes of Churchmans Road between Continental Drive and Route 7.  These two incidents may be connected according to sources in law enforcement.

At approximately 9:52 p.m Wilmington Police began an investigation into a  shooting that occurred in the 1000 block of North Pine Street. Police said an 18-year-old male gunshot victim arrived at the hospital in stable condition, however, they did not release details surrounding the incident.

Sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 Friday night a male in his 20’s reportedly arrived at the hospital in Milford suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
