Just after 6:10, Thursday morning rescue crews responded to the 7-11 at 4865 Governor Printz Blvd. in Edgemoor for reports of a pedestrian struck.
Reports from the scene indicate that the pedestrian had succumbed to their injuries.
Delaware State Police issued a traffic advisory for Governor Printz Boulevard between Rysing Drive and Haines Avenue. “The roadway is currently closed for an extended period of time for a serious injury accident. Motorists are urged to seek alternate routes of travel.”
