County Officer Involved In Serious Crash Tuesday Night

Just before 11:00, Tuesday evening rescue crews from the Christiana and Wilmington Manor Fire Companies along with New Castle County Paramedics responded to Route 40 at Route 7 in Bear for reports of a vehicle accident with entrapment.

Early reports indicate that three people were injured and two people were trapped. Initial reports also indicate that all three injured were transported to Christiana Hospital.

Details of the accident that involved a County Police Tahoe have not been released. It’s unclear if the County Officer was one of the injured that was transported.
