Just after 10:00, Saturday morning firefighters from New Castle and Delaware Counties responded to the intersection of Timberwyck Road and Marribrook Road for a house fire with reported entrapments.
First arriving are reporting smoke showing from the eaves. Crews have made entry into the home, finding fire in the basement. The primary and secondary searches of the home are negative. No one was found in the home.
Crews are have located fire in the bedroom as well. The fire has been knocked in both the basement and the bedroom.
