Just after 10:20, Saturday morning rescue crews responded to Harvey Road just north of I-95 for reports of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.
Arriving crews confirmed that a pedestrian had been stuck in the roadway and asked for county medics.
The patient has been to the hospital by Claymont Fire Company ambulance with unknown injuiuries.
