Just after 8:15, Thursday evening area law enforcement responded to Merchant Square in Edgemoor for reports that one person had been shot.
Sources in law enforcement tell FSU that the incident originally occurred at Colony Blvd. and E. Lea Blvd. in the area of the Colony North Apartments.
Were also told that the victim sustained only cuts to his hands after the windows of his vehicle were shot out.
Police have not released details surrounding the incident.
