Second I-95 Rollover Crash Wednesday Night Traps One

At approximately 6:00 p.m., New Castle County Paramedics (NCCEMS), Wilmington Manor Fire Company, Good Will Fire Company of New Castle, Christiana Fire Company, Minquadale Fire Company, and Delaware Air Guard Fire Department were dispatched to the 100 block of South Dupont Highway for reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle, according to NCCEMS ssistant PIO Emily Mallon.

Mallon said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found an approximately 25-year-old male unresponsive in the roadway. He was treated for a head injury, abdominal injury, and lower extremity injuries. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Christiana Fire Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in critical condition.
Delaware State Police are investigating the crash.
