County Police wrap up a months-long investigation into drug sales officials said Thursday.
Authorities said investigators from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit Gang Task Force and Safe Streets conducted an extensive investigation into a residence on the 2000 block of Frazer Road during December and January.
During their investigation, sufficient probable cause was established to obtain a search warrant regarding illicit drug sales, according to police.
On Wednesday, members of the Mobile Enforcement Team and Drug Control Squad executed the search warrant and arrested 22-year-old Brandon Silva, and 32-year-old Brandon Mason.
Police said at the residence the investigators seized: a 2010 BMW 535, 3 handguns, 4lbs of Marijuana, 59.1 grams of Psilocybin Mushrooms, 26 LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide), $2,305 USC, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia.
Brandon Silva was charged with two counts of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Tier 2 Quantity), one count of felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, and one count of misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released after posting $25,500 secured bail.
Brandon Mason was charged with one count of felony Possession of a Weapon by Person Prohibited (Controlled Substance) and one count of a civil violation for Possession of Marijuana. He was also arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and held in lieu of $10,001 secured bail.
Officials said a third subject has been charged but he has not been apprehended yet.
