Just In: Vehicle Into A Tree In Middletown, One To Trauma Center By Air

Delaware State Police are investigating a crash that seriously injured one patient Tuesday morning.

At 7:30 this morning rescue crews responded to Bunker Hill Road at Manor Drive for reports of a vehicle into a tree.

Responding crews learned that the driver of the vehicle was seriously injured. Crews were also advised to use caution due to black ice on the road.

Arriving crews advised that Tropper 4, already en route, would be utilized for transport.

The patient was airlifted to the Trauma Center, arriving just before 8:00 am.
