Man Crushed By Sewage Truck In Hartly Friday

Just after 3:30 Friday afternoon rescue crews responded to the 3000 block of Hourglass Road in Hartly for a rollover crash with entrapment.

While en route crews learned that a man was trapped after the sewage truck overturned. They also learned that wires were down in the area . Initial reports from the scene indicate that the man was trapped under the truck.

As crews worked to free the man , Command advised that sewage was leaking from the vehicle.

As Trooper 2, also dispatched to the crash, arrived overhead, Command advised them to land in a nearby field.

 

The man was eventually freed and transported to the hospital. At this time we do not have details on the nature of his injuries, only that they are serious.
