The Milford Police Department is investigating a shooting that they believe occurred in the area of Allen and Tull Way at approximately 2:50 pm on Thursday.
Police said Detectives from the Milford Police Department’s Criminal Division responded to the Bayhealth Sussex Campus after learning that an individual was being treated for a gunshot wound.
Police said their investigation revealed that an unknown suspect fired several rounds from a handgun, with one striking a male victim.
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
