The Delaware State Police are on the scene in Georgetown conducting what they are calling an “active and ongoing criminal investigation.”
A statement issued Tuesday said that Asbury Road between County Seat Highway (Rt. 9) and Raccoon Ditch Road was closed and that the roadway will be closed for an extended period of time.
FSU has learned that the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team (S.O.R.T.) has responded to the scene.
