Quick Thinking Police Officer Rushes 13-Year-Old Boy To Hospital After He’s Shot

Wilmington Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 7:35 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Madison Street.

Police located a 13-year-old boy gunshot victim who was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that the first arriving officer grabbed the teen and rushed him to the hospital in his patrol car.
