Just before 2:00 Sunday morning, a vehicle traveling NB on Route 1 struck a DelDOT truck in the area of Route 273.
First arriving reported that a person involved in the accident fled the scene on foot.
Two patients, including the DelDOT worker, were transported to the hospital with undetermined injuries.
Route 1 NB was closed while the Delaware State Police investigated the crash.
It is not clear if the person that fled the scene was found.
