Christina School District Teams Up With Giant Food To Fight Hunger, How You Can Help

Christina School District has partnered with Giant Food to help fight food insecurity.

Everyone who shops at Giant Food will be invited to “ROUND UP AT THE REGISTER” their grocery purchase and donate the round up amount to the program fund or donate online through Giant Delivers and Giant Pickup. Giant Food will also include the option to include your FLEX points that are converted to grocery dollars.

The funds will be used to fill backpacks with weekend food, clear delinquent lunch accounts, to building a community pantry in our schools, the funds will be provided directly to Christina’s Child Nutrition Services for use, at the District’s discretion, to address food insecurity in school communities.

The Round Up program ends on August 11, 2022.

Christina School District said they look forward to partnering with Giant Food in the fight against childhood hunger.
