Just In: Trapped Patient Transported To Trauma Center After Rollover Crash In Talleyville

Just after 5:30, Thursday morning rescue crews from the Talleyville Fire Company responded to the Exxon at Naamans Road at Concord Pike for a rollover crash with injuries.

While en route crews were told that one person was trapped and the that vehicle may be on fire. First arriving crews confirmed that one patient was trapped and the car was not on fire.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that the vehicle may have rolled after striking a pole. The patient was eventually freed from the vehicle and transported to the trauma center in serious condition.

Power to the traffic signals was out for a short time due to the crash.
