Police: Collins Park Peeping Tom Charged After Social Media Friend Request

On July 20, 2022, patrol officers from the New Castle County Division of Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Killoran Drive, in the community of Collins Park for the report of a suspicious person, according to police.

Officials said when the officers arrived, they met with the 32-year-old victim and learned that she was in her kitchen and as she looked out of the window, she saw a male subject looking back at her.  She stated that she does not know who the male is, but he has been showing up on her property and standing on her front lawn, according to police. She added this all started when she accepted a friend request from him on a popular social media site.

Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrived at the scene and assumed the investigation.  From the social media account captured by the patrol officers, the detectives were able to identify 29-year-old Alexander Tillman as the suspect officials said Friday.

Yesterday, Tillman was taken into custody without incident and taken to police headquarters where he was charged with one count of misdemeanor Trespassing with the Intent to Peep. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court #2 and was subsequently released on his own recognizance.
