Facing Firearms, Aggravated Menacing Charges Man Released On Unsecured Bond

Wilmington Police have arrested a New York man following an aggravated menacing incident officials said Monday.

Authorities said on October 8 at approximately 1:53 p.m., police responded to the 100 block of 7th Avenue regarding an aggravated menacing incident. Through investigative measures, police were able to identify 36-year-old Abdulai Jabateh, of New York, as the suspect. Jabateh was taken into custody without incident a short time later.

Jabateh was charged with the following offenses:
Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
Aggravated Menacing
He was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 11 and released on $22,000 unsecured bail.
