New Castle City Council President Asking AG To Investigate Council Members

New Castle City Council President Michael Platt has asked the Delaware Attorney General (AG) to investigate some council members.

During the Tuesday night, City Council meeting Platt informed the council that he had filed a complaint with AG’s office on Tuesday of last week.

Platt said, “I feel like there are certain council people that are colluding, that are using private emails, and they’re not being upfront and honest with the citizens in my opinion”.

“Business should be conducted here and only here”, added Platt. He said that he would update the council when he received more information from the AG’s Office.

Platt did not publicly name the council members that he is asking the AG’s Office to investigate.
