The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists that the Otts Chapel Road bridge over I-95 in Newark ia closed for 6-8 weeks starting on Tuesday, November 29th so crews can rehabilitate the bridge joints.
Traffic will be detoured using Welsh Tract Road, Route 896 and West Chestnut Hill Road.
Motorists should use caution and expect minor delays moving through the area.
