Wilmington Police are investigating what has been determined to have been a shooting incident that occurred at approximately 10:01 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of North Church Street.
Police located an 11-year-old female gunshot victim, who was transported to the hospital in stable condition. This incident is believed to have been accidental in nature.
This incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
