The New Castle County Division of Police has arrested a third suspect related to the home invasion that occurred in Manor Park on Sunday, January 22nd.
Officials said through investigative measures, a third suspect was identified as 23-year-old Alistair Dispasquale of Wilmington. The investigation revealed that Alistair fled from the scene while the other suspects were being detained.
On Tuesday, January 24, 2023, Alistair was taken into custody by New Castle County Police and agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) near the 900 block of N Franklin Street in Wilmington.
It was discovered that Alistair sustained a gunshot wound to an upper extremity during the initial incident in Manor Park. After being taken into custody, Alistair was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released. Alistair was then transported to New Castle County Police headquarters.
Alistair Dispasquale was charged with one count of robbery in the first degree, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, one felony count of burglary in the first degree, one felony count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited, eight felony counts of aggravated menacing, one felony count of conspiracy in the second degree, three misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child, and one misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.
Alistair was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 2 and bail was set at $216,000.00 cash. He was later committed to Howard R Young Correctional Institution.
