Attempted Murder Suspect Now In Custody

The New Castle County Division of Police, Criminal Investigations Unit, has charged Victor Alamo, a 35-year-old male, with attempted murder and firearms related charges after he discharged a firearm at a victim yesterday morning, according to police.

Officials said on Thursday at approximately 7:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Valley Road for the report of a shots fired complaint.  Officers located the scene and after contacting the 37-year-old victim, learned he was sitting in his vehicle when a male suspect approached him armed with a firearm.
