Two Injured In Pike Creek Collision

Delaware State Police are investigating a Pike Creek-Area crash that sent two to the hospital.

Officials said on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at 10:23 a.m. the Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company along with New Castle County Paramedics were dispatched to Polly Drummond Hill Road at Rankin Road for a motor vehicle collision.

Upon arrival, crews found two vehicles with heavy front-end damage and one vehicle overturned officials said. Two patients were transported by Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company ambulances to CER with paramedics onboard.

A 75-year-old female was treated by Paramedics for extremity injuries and abrasions. She was
transported in serious, but stable condition. A 43-year-old male was treated by Paramedics for extremity and possible internal injuries. He was transported in critical condition.
