Police: Arson Suspect Sought In Dover Car Fires

Dover officials are currently investigating an arson fire reported at Brookedale, 150 Saulsbury Road on Friday evening. At 9:21 p.m. Dover Police and Dover Fire Department responded to the scene and were told by witnesses that a suspect was seen running away moments before the two vehicles ignited with fire.

The Dover Fire Marshal’s office is leading the investigation with the assistance of the Dover Police Department. Upon further investigation, it was determined that the fire was an act of arson and an image of the suspected arsonist was captured and released to the public.

Local authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying the arson suspect. They are encouraging anyone who might have information about the possible suspect to come forward.
