Two Transported To Hospital After Rollover Crash, One By Air

Sunday afternoon took a turn for motorists south of Dover when a rollover crash occurred at approximately 2:26 p.m.

The incident took place in the vicinity of Route 13 and S Red Haven Lane, resulting in two patients being transported to separate hospitals for immediate medical attention.

Initial reports from the scene indicate that one of the vehicles involved in the crash rolled over multiple times before coming to a rest. Emergency response teams arrived at the scene to provide assistance.

According to the reports, one of the patients was transported by ground to Kent General Hospital. The nature and severity of their injuries were not immediately disclosed. However, the fact that the vehicle had rolled multiple times suggests a potentially serious situation.

In a separate vehicle involved in the crash, another patient was reportedly rear-ended at a high rate of speed. Due to their injuries, medical professionals made the decision to airlift the patient to Christiana Emergency Room (CER) via Trooper 4, the Delaware State Police’s aviation unit.

The current conditions of the patients involved in the crash have not been released to the public.
