The Delaware State Police have arrested and charged two individuals in connection with a significant drug-related operation police said Friday.
Officials said Antonio Young, aged 43, and Darus Young, aged 47, residents of Dover and Milford, Delaware, respectively, were taken into custody after law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence located in Lincoln.
The arrests came as the result of an investigation conducted by the Sussex Drug Unit, which had been tracking the activities of the Young brothers in Sussex County according to police.
Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 3:39 p.m., members of the Sussex Drug Unit, in collaboration with the Governor’s Task Force, Special Operations Response Team, and the Milford Police Department, executed a search warrant on a residence in the 8800 block of Greentop Road. Antonio and Darus Young were apprehended without incident a short distance away from the premises police said.
Officials said during the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement officers combed through the residence and several associated vehicles, finding items including approximately 7,073 baggies containing over 1.7 ounces (49.511 grams) of suspected heroin, over 2.7 ounces (76.65 grams) of crack cocaine, over half an ounce (14.36 grams) of powder cocaine, over 2.5 ounces (70.92 grams) of marijuana, fourteen doses of Suboxone, fourteen packs of edible THC products, one handgun, various rounds of ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and over $1,300 in suspected drug proceeds.
Police said both Antonio and Darus Young, previously convicted felons prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition, were transported to Troop 4 for processing and subsequently charged with an array of serious offenses.

He was arraigned before Justice of the Peace Court 3. He has been remanded to Sussex Correctional Institution on a cash bond of $236,400.
