The victim who succumbed to her injuries has been identified as 22-year-old Maryuri Paola Cortes Padilla.
The five other individuals injured in this collision were in stable condition at last check officials said Wednesday.

The Wilmington Police Department (WPD) is actively investigating a fatal vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday at approximately 4:59 p.m. in the vicinity of 4th and Dupont Streets. The incident involved two vehicles and resulted in six individuals sustaining injuries, with one victim tragically losing her life.
Officials said among the injured were three adult females aged 32, 27, and 26, as well as two young males, aged 10 and 3 years old. The severity of their injuries has not been disclosed.
Of the injured victims, a woman believed to be in her 20s sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment where she succumbed to her injuries. Authorities are working to confirm the identity of the deceased and notify her next of kin before releasing any further details to the public.
