The Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning in Wilmington.
Officials said on July 19, 2023, at approximately 1:45 a.m., troopers responded to the area of Philadelphia Pike and East Delaware Avenue in Wilmington for reports of a shooting.
Troopers learned that two unknown subjects were heard arguing followed by multiple shots being fired. One of the subjects fled on foot and the other fled in a car in an unknown direction. Troopers located several shell casings on the ground. No injuries have been reported at this time.
There is no suspect description at this time police said Wednesday.
