The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit is reaching out to the public for assistance in gathering information about a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on S. State Street in Camden this afternoon.
The victim, a three-year-old child, was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle at around 4:00 on Tuesday accoring to police. Several readers reported that Troopers were performing CPR on the child prior to medical crews arrivial.
Officials are investigating the circumstances surrounding the hit-and-run incident. Police have released photos of vehilce of interest and are asking for the public to contact them if you have information regarding the incident.

Lane of the Delaware State Police Troop 3 is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or possesses information about the vehicle and its operator to come forward.
