County police update the search we first told you about earlier today.
Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police are currently conducting a burglary investigation in Frenchtown Woods in Bear.
Officials said on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 11:15 a.m., Patrol Officers were dispatched to the unit block of Avignon Drive in reference to a burglary that just occurred.
An adult male victim on scene advised he was inside his home at which time he heard knocking at his door. The victim went downstairs to check and observed two suspects inside his home. The suspects then ran from his residence. Officers responded to the area and are still on scene at this time. The Delaware State Police Aviation Unit was also called to the scene to check the surrounding community.
The suspects were described as two black males wearing jeans and boots and a third suspect was described as a male wearing a mask.
Detectives from the New Castle County Division of Police Property Unit have responded to the scene to assume the investigation.
