Troopers Need Leads After Man Found Dead In Recycling Center

On Monday Delaware State Police responded to Recycling Management Resources, located at 100 Amer Road in Wilmington after a body was found by workers.

Police said at approximately 1:30 p.m., employees at Recycling Management Resources found the lifeless body of Daniel Devol-Neidig, 43, of Dover in a processing area of the facility. The circumstances surrounding his death are not clear, and the cause of death remains has not been determined according to police.

Officials said Devol-Neidig was last seen on Monday, October 2, when he was released from the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown. His activities and whereabouts in the days between his release and the discovery of his body at the recycling facility were subjects of investigation.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is investigating Devol-Neidig’s death. They are asking for the public’s assistance in this investigation.
