Camden-Wyoming School Employee Airlifted To Trauma Center Tuesday Morning

On Tuesday morning at approximately 6:30 AM, emergency response teams were called to Fred Fifer Middle School in Camden, following reports of a serious fall incident involving a district employee.

The response included rescue crews from the Camden Wyoming Fire Company, Kent County Paramedics, and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4.

Upon arrival at the scene, crews found the patient, identified as a district employee, in a condition that required the patient to be airlifted.

The patient was airlifted from the school and taken to the Christiana Hospital Trauma Center in New Castle County in an unknown condition.

Following the incident, officials at Fred Fifer Middle School issued a statement acknowledging the medical emergency. The statement confirmed that the situation involved a district employee. It also noted that the school continued to operate on a regular schedule despite the incident.
