Man Shot In Broad Daylight Friday Succumbs To Injuries

Wilmington Police are currently conducting an investigation into a fatal shooting that occurred in the 1100 block of Read Street.

The incident took place around 1:49 p.m. Friday afternoon. Upon arrival at the scene, authorities discovered a 36-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, where he passed away due to the severity of his injuries.
