A serious accident occurred at the intersection of Old Churchmans Road and Ogletown Stanton Road in Newark on Friday morning just before 8:10.
Initial reports suggested that a child had been struck in the incident. However, as emergency crews were en route to the scene, further information indicated that the situation involved a rollover crash with an ejection.
The exact circumstances surrounding the accident, including how the tractor rollover occurred. It’s not clear if any other vehicles were involved.
The child was been rushed to the nearby Christian Hospital. Two other patients have also been transported.
Initial reports indicated that a tractor-trailer rolled over however, new information indicated that it was a car, not a tractor-trailer.
