Woman Airlifted After Head-On Collision Wednesday

Dover, Kent County — A serious head-on collision at the intersection of Sharon Hill Road and Deer Track Lane in Dover resulted in serious injuries to a woman Wednesday morning.

According to initial reports, at around 7:25 this morning the woman was initially found to be unresponsive at after being involved in a head-on collision at that location. Saint Francis EMS and Kent County Paramedics responded to the call and provided immediate medical attention.

The injured woman was stabilized and, due to the severity of her condition, was transported by Trooper 4 to a trauma center in New Castle County in serious condition.

Local authorities are currently investigating the collision. Motorists should expect delays at the intersection where the crash occurred.

It’s not clear if anyone else was injured in the crash.
